About Daniel

Daniel Beaulieu is the senior reviewer behind every casino test on 24Strong. He grew up in Montréal, studied at Université de Montréal (BA, Communications, with a minor in Economics, 2009), and spent the early part of his career writing about Canadian consumer finance for trade publications in Toronto and Calgary. He moved into the iGaming beat full-time in 2018 after Ontario's regulatory framework began taking shape, and has been deposit-testing Canadian-facing online casinos ever since.

His focus is the part of the experience most reviewers gloss over: what actually happens after the "Play Now" button. Does the Interac deposit really clear in under a minute, or does it sit pending for forty-five?
